Dear LHSGSE Scholarship Committee,
Thank you so much for selecting me as this year's scholarship recipient! This money represents a loan I won't need to take
out, for which I am very grateful. Numerous hurdles stand between me and achieving my dreams; your efforts will help to make
sure that financial insolvency isn't one of them.
While I am undecided about which future path I wish to pursue, I do know one thing: a good education will be required. Of
course, such an education carries a hefty price tag. The volunteer spirit shown by the scholarship committee and the generosity
of the LHSGSE donors will help offset these costs. I pledge to provide a good
return on your investment, both by persevering towards my goals and perhaps by giving back to the LHSGSE as a donor. The program
you have established is a great help to the Lakenheath community and I would be glad to aid in its expansion. Again, thank

Dear LHSGSE, I would like to thank you forthe $750 you've awarded me to help me pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. This money has lightened my financial burden and I cannot thank you enough. With your help, I'll be able to focues more on obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I've dreamed for a long time of becoming a nurse just like my mom and I know it will be a challenging path, but I will put forth my best work to ensure this money is used wisely. Dear Lakenheath High
School Graduates’ Scholarship for Excellence, I
wish to thank you for the $500 that you have given me. It is an enormous help towards my future career as an elementary school
teacher. I am unable to express the gratitude I have towards you for all the help that this will be when I am in college.
After college I want to be able to teach our future generation. I know that with this money that you
have given me, I will be able to fulfill this dream and make a difference in the lives of those children that I teach. This scholarship will help me be able to go through my first year of college debt-free. It will give
me peace of mind knowing that my tuition and books are now paid for. Again
I thank you with all my heart for everything that you have now helped me to accomplish by giving me this scholarship. I will
